Kami Simmons

Entertainment multimedia reporter, on-air host, producer, radio personality, public speaker and all-around storyteller, Kami Simmons’ news and hosting experience includes being a guest commentator for TMZ, MTV and guest participant, interviewee, and commentator for USA Today. Kami is also currently the designer, creator, producer and host of #TrensettaReports videos and is also pursuing her M.S. degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Columbia University Journalism School. Kami has worked alongside some of the biggest names within the world of television, media and entertainment including Sinclair Broadcasting, iHeartMedia, the Voice of America, HLN with CNN and the White House. Kami had the honor of working on First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn Initiative during the White House Obama Administration. She has helped with productions of award shows including the Billboard Music Awards, Viacom's BET Honors, Nickelodeon HALO Awards and NBCUniversal Telemundo’s Premios Tu Mundo Awards. She is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Society of Professional Journalists, Women in Cable Telecommunications and the Overseas Press Club of America.
