Ivy Kusinga

 

Ivy Kusinga is Vice President, Business Development at ACE Overseas General. Prior to this she was Vice President,Talent and Development at ACE  North America. In this role, Ivy was responsibie for executing ACE’s Talent Management strategy aligned with ACE’s business focus and direction.  Ivy oversaw how ACE assesses, develops and retains talent while also providing overall management of the Learning and Development function which supports the implementation of the corporate learning strategy. Ivy joined ACE Limited in 2000 as Project Manager, Global Training & Development, in the Bermuda office. Having worked in the Bermuda operation as the Director of Learning & Development for six years, Ivy was promoted to the Head of Learning and Development for the ACE USA operation in 2006.

 

Prior to ACE, Ivy worked with HSBC Bermuda starting within the Corporate Communications department then working as Business Analyst within the Retail Division of the bank before joining the Human Resources department as a Communications Officer, Assistant Vice President.  Since 2011, Ivy has been serving as a Board Member with the Bermuda Wellness Foundation (BWF). As the primarily wellness philanthropy connecting United States and Bermuda, the BWF is committed to fostering the next generation of medical care and wellness education on the island of Bermuda. Ivy also serves as a Board member for The Pedro Arrupe Center for Business Ethics in the Haub School of Business, Saint Joseph’s University.

 

With over 15 years of work experience within Learning & Development, Ivy is certified in several work-related assessment tools including Personnel Decisions International (360 Assessment) and the Hay Group Inc. Emotional Social Competency Assessment and CAPT Myers Briggs Type.   Ivy has a BA (cum laude) in International Development from St. Mary’s University, Nova Scotia.
