Onyi Balogun

 

Onyi Balogun is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Cornell Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University and medical degree from Yale University. She completed her residency at NYU. Dr. Balogun combines her field of radiation oncology with a passion for global health.  After graduating from Harvard University, Onyi spent a year in Nigeria working with cancer patients. It was during that time that she realized that there was a significant global need to improve the availability and quality of healthcare services, including radiation therapy. Since then, she has engaged in efforts to improve cancer care internationally.
